Job Description:
We are seeking friendly, motivated, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Staff
Members. As a KOA Staff Member, you will play an essential role in ensuring our guests
have a fantastic experience from check-in to check-out. You’ll assist with a variety of tasks,
from guest services to campground maintenance, as well as playing a key role in events hosted by the KOA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with
reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and answering any questions about the
campground or local area. Play a role in hosting events at our KOA campground.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the
campground, including restroom facilities, common areas, cabins, and outdoor
spaces.
- Sales and Retail: Support the front desk and store operations by selling
merchandise and handling transactions.
- Safety and Security: Ensure a safe environment for guests by monitoring the
campground and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
Team Collaboration: Work with other staff members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
Problem Solving: Quick thinking with the ability to handle guest concerns or issues in a positive and efficient manner.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to pass a background check.
