American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(R)/NMTCB and ARRT(MR)/ARMRIT certification for a fast-paced imaging department.

Work in a hospital-based MRI department within a 35-bed facility
-
Serve ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient patient populations
-
Department performs an average of 30 studies per weekday and 14 studies on weekends
-
Outpatients are scheduled on weekends
-
Uses Siemens MRI equipment
-
EMR is Epic with Epic Radiant RIS and Philips iSite PACS
-
10-hour day shifts, Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
-
No floating required
-
No on-call or weekend rotation requirements
-
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
-
ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification required
-
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
State licensure is not required, but active license required if applicable
-
Siemens MRI equipment experience required
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging department completing routine and STAT MRI exams
-
Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Complete routine and STAT MRI exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
-
First week includes 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearning, policy review) followed by department-specific training
-
Travelers will work holidays that fall within their scheduled shift
-
RTO requests require manager approval

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Returning travelers must be separated from any Advocate Health Southeast facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
