Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Door Builder and Door Hang Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing doors using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Your mechanical knowledge, precision measurement skills, and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in delivering high-quality millwork and composite doors that meet exact specifications. Duties
- Assemble door components according to training and drawings, ensuring precise measurements and quality standards are met.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized machinery to cut, shape, and assemble fiberglass and metal doors
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse or manufacturing environment, including materials handling and storage procedures.
- Measure finished products with tape measures and other measurement tools to verify dimensional accuracy for quality control.
- Install doors in the shop by hanging them securely using appropriate hardware while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean work environment by following safety guidelines and ensuring proper use of safety equipment during all tasks.
Experience
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, tape measures, and other measurement devices for precise work.
- Familiarity with composite materials used in door manufacturing is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to machinery operation and materials handling is essential.
- Previous experience with forklift operation or certification is beneficial but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
