OBJECTIVE
The RBP Technician is responsible for Rebuilding RBPs, Rebuilding Setting Tools and verify that the products delivered perform properly and meet customers expectations as assigned by the District Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Rebuild RBP’s
· Rebuild Setting Tools
· Setting of RBP Knowledge
· Retrieval of RBP Knowledge
· Available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer requests
· Travel required to respond to customer requests
· Oversee and assist, if necessary, in installing, using and/or removing equipment in accordance with applicable technical procedures
· Collaborate with customer management team to develop a plan for each well location as well as serving as a resource to customer employees and other on-site service companies to accomplish customer objectives
· Ensure job tickets are signed accordingly
· Manage plug inventory
· Serve as Plug Hand when customer requests
· Assemble Oil Field Tools/shop upkeep/Setting Equipment upkeep
· Interact professionally and regularly with customers and consultants.
· Keep Logs for Driving
· Always maintain the highest possible safety standards and uphold company, customer, industry HSE policies
EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Hold and maintain a Class B CDL License
· Ability to write, read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
· Basic computer skills, to include spreadsheet and word documents
· Demonstrated mechanical ability to maintain and build oilfield related equipment
· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
