We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial trucks vehicles for delivery adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Load, unload, and move products using manual handling techniques
- Execute accurate delivery of goods to customers’ locations, ensuring proper handling and presentation of items.
- Maintain clear communication via mobile devices for route updates, delivery confirmations, and customer interactions.
- Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, stock organization, and manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting.
- Ensure compliance with safe lifting practices during all manual handling activities to prevent injuries.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while following safety protocols for weight handling in the workplace.
- Support the warehouse team with moving supplies or equipment as needed to facilitate smooth operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker, with familiarity in warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or commercial trucks preferred.
- Strong knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic laws, and DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly while following safe lifting practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during deliveries.
- Experience using mobile devices for route navigation and communication is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment requiring moving, loading, and unloading materials efficiently.
