Location: Remote (Must reside in the Twin Cities or surrounding Minnesota metro area)
Travel: Occasional travel required for conferences, center visits, meetings, and networking events
Availability Requirements:
Must have morning availability, Monday-Friday, starting at 6:00am to support staffing requests and time-sensitive communication
Additional responsibilities will occur periodically throughout the day on a flexible schedule, with occasional availability needed up until 6:00pm
Purpose:
Just In Time Teachers is an early childhood substitute teacher company that partners with child care centers to provide high-quality staffing support.
The Placement & Partnership Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with child care centers while ensuring the successful fulfillment of all staffing requests. This role serves as the primary point of contact for partner centers and plays a critical role in ensuring classrooms remain supported, open, and fully staffed.

Primary Areas of Focus:
Center Growth & Partnerships
- Generate new center partnerships
- Conduct outreach calls
- Manage contracts and center onboarding
- Coordinate on-going address list for mailers and outreach campaigns
Partnership Management
- Conduct center check-ins
- Gather feedback and reviews
- Increase center utilization and hours
- Organize and attend conferences and networking events
- Yearly contract renewals
Scheduling & Fulfillment
- Fill staffing requests
- Confirm placements
- Manage schedule changes and call-offs
- Coordinate coverage solutions
- Maintain communication with centers and staff
- Send staff files and placement information
- Manage weekly remaining availability communications
Operations & Systems
- Monitor timecards
- Track attendance points
- Escalate accountability concerns to Director of Talent & Brand
- Maintain operational systems and processes
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations role
- Has some experience in sales or client relations (preferred)
- Has experience working with children or within an early childhood setting (preferred)
- Relationship-driven and thrives on building strong partnerships with centers
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple moving parts at once
- A strong communicator who responds quickly and clearly
- Solution-focused and able to think on their feet in fast-paced situations
- Comfortable balancing both relationship-building and operational responsibilities
- Passionate about supporting early childhood education and ensuring quality care for children
- Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently in a remote role
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
