What you’ll do
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and flair
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with travelers and locals alike, ensuring their satisfaction
- Operate Square POS systems efficiently for order processing and payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating strong math skills
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring high-quality standards are met
- Manage time effectively to meet customer demands during peak hours
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment
Basic qualifications
- Previous barista/service experience or some coffee knowledge preferred
- Familiarity with food handling and safety practices in the food industry (Food Handlers card)
- Must be able to commute to Chiriaco Summit, CA (30 minutes east of Indio)
Preferred qualifications
- Experience using Square POS
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent sales skills to promote menu items effectively
