Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive needs through active listening and engaging conversation.
- Provide detailed product information, including vehicle features, accessories, and service options, to assist customers in making informed decisions.
- Upsell additional products and services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, and transmission work to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
- Coordinate with the service department to schedule repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance appointments efficiently.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive repair procedures, including diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, suspension work, and auto body repair.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely at the point of sale.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive trends, technologies, and dealership promotions to effectively communicate value to customers.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive sales is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in auto service management or mechanic roles.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, auto estimating, service writing, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of various automotive systems including transmissions, oil change services, tire service, alignment, suspension systems, brake repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engines, and auto body repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle inquiries professionally.
- Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust.
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
