American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift contract in an adult respiratory care unit in Austin, TX, requiring at least 1 year of experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications.

RRT credential required; must be active and in good standing — license required if applicable

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in respiratory therapy

Active ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

Must have worked in the specialty within the last 6 months

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Responsibilities include adult respiratory therapy care including nebulizer treatments, oxygen delivery, and ventilator management

Required scrub colors are olive green tops and black bottoms

Certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) are accepted
