Pritchard Industries in Grand Prairie, Tx is seeking to hire Floor Technicians. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, finishing, and buffing all hard floors and corridors, stripping and sealing floors and corridors, stripping and sealing restroom floors, maintaining carpet, including vacuuming, shampooing, extracting, and spot cleaning.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
The Floor Technician reports to the Shift Manager or Team Lead and receives work assignments and work supervision from the same.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES
- Strip, scrub, mop, finish, and buff all areas as scheduled.
- Inspect and clean all corners by hand that power cleaning equipment cannot reach.
- Inform the Supervisor of any leaks, maintenance concerns, or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain all equipment in good condition.
- Vacuum, and clean carpet areas as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
- Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.
- Reliable Transportation.
Benefits:
- Pay rates Starting $14.00-$16.00/hr
- Hours: 40 hrs/week, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm or 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday - Friday
