*Job Summary*
Our firm distributes electrical and mechanical parts for use in the elevator & crane industries. We offer a wide variety of motor controls, with a strong focus upon service, speed, and accuracy. We pride ourselves on our vast knowledge of our product line, as well as our fast and timely delivery. We are presently seeking a people-oriented parts specialist with some prior knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical parts.
*Duties*
- Be able to read technical catalogs (both paper catalogs and online PDFs) to support ordering of highly specific relays and contactors. Prior experience in this area is a big plus.
- Be able to take sales orders over the phone or by e-mail, and process all aspects of customer support necessary.
- Learn the details of a large number of parts and assemblies, and provide expert knowledge on them.
- Handle all aspects of customer relations, including quoting, invoicing, collections, replacements, and returns.
*Experience*
- Proficiency in some area of industrial sales and/or distribution is helpful. This area does not need to be in electrical parts.
- A strong people oriented personality is desired.
- Minimal computer knowledge of Windows, DOS, and common spreadsheet/word processing tools.
- Ability to use part catalogs and web searches.
*Compensation*
- This job usually takes upwards of 6 months for full training. During this initial time-period, we are offering a probationary salary, with full compensation after the initial training is complete. Details of this will be discussed when you are hired.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
