Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Health Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals in addiction and recovery. Your primary focus will be to enhance the quality of life for clients through effective engagement. This position requires a strong commitment to helping others and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of those you serve.
Duties
- Responsible for transporting clients as needed, in a safe manner.
- Responsible for conducting quarterly rounds, documenting rounds in KIPU (EMR)
- Responsible for monitoring clients and enforcing the rules and expectations. Responsible for providing coaching, recovery and emotional support, problem solving and crisis management to the clients.
- Responsible for monitoring, observing, intervening upon as needed, and documenting all client actions as needed
- Responsible for interacting with clients in an approachable, empathetic, supportive, respectful manner at all times. This includes when intervening on client behavior or when a client is disrespectful in return.
- Responsible for alerting management immediately to intervene in emergencies, safety/risk issues to ensure a safe and supportive recovery environment for the clients and staff.
- Responsible for maintaining strict client confidentiality.
- Responsible for observing medication self-administration, medication tracking and verification count, as required.
- Responsible for the completion of incident reports, as necessary.
- Responsible for maintaining active awareness of resident’s locations and what activities in which theory engaged at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year sustained sobriety and experience working in a sober living environment and/or behavioral health treatment facility preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a drug toxicology test.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
