Responsibilities
A clerk for hydraulic hoses and auto or heavy truck parts handles customer sales, hose assembly, and inventory management. Key responsibilities include customer service, hose fabrication, and inventory tracking.
- Customer Service: Help customers find the right parts and hoses for cars or big trucks.
- Hose Assembly: Cut and crimp hydraulic hoses to the correct size using shop tools.
- Inventory Control: Put away stock, count parts, and keep the sales area clean and organized.
- Order Processing: Write up invoices and take payments at the front counter

- Product Knowledge: Understand auto parts, heavy-duty truck parts, and hydraulic fittings.
- Mechanical Ability: Know how to use hose crimpers, saws, and measuring tools safely.
- Communication: Talk clearly with customers and mechanics to solve their problems.
