SEXYFAST Development Studio is seeking experienced apparel professionals to become part of our growing development and production team.
This position will begin as independent contractor, project-based work, with assignments based on individual styles, samples and/or small production quantities as needed.
We are specifically looking for individuals who are comfortable working with low minimums and small quantities per style as we continue to grow and expand production.
This is not intended to be a one-time project. Our goal is to build long-term relationships with reliable, skilled professionals who want to grow with the SEXYFAST brand.
As production volume increases, there will be opportunities for more consistent work, increased quantities and potentially a larger part-time or full-time role for the right individuals.

Seeking experienced swimwear patternmakers, sample makers/seamstresses, industrial fabric cutters, technical designers, grading specialists and quality-control professionals.
Experience working with swimwear, activewear and stretch fabrics is strongly preferred.

Positions needed:
*Senior Swimwear Patternmaker* PROJECT/ PER STYLE BASIS
-Must understand swimwear/activewear and stretch fabrics
-Develop and modify existing patterns
-Correct fit and construction issues
-Help convert/digitize paper patterns
-Prepare patterns for grading and production
-create grading templates
-Tech packs
-Measurement/spec sheets
-Work closely during development
*Experienced Sample Seamstress / Sample Maker/ Production Sewer*
-Professional swimwear construction experience
-Lycra/spandex/stretch-fabric expertise
-Sew prototypes and fit samples
-Make construction revisions with the patternmaker
-Ideally experienced with both women’s swimwear and men’s boardshorts
-SMALL QUANTITIES PER STYLE
*Industrial Fabric Cutter*
-Precision cutting
-Experience with Lycra, spandex, mesh, lining and other performance fabrics
-Understand grain/stretch direction and print placement
-Organize cut bundles per sewing contractors
Compensation will vary by project and will be agreed upon prior to the start of each assignment.
Rates will be based on the specific scope of work, garment/style, complexity, services required and production quantity.
Projects may include individual style development, samples/prototypes, pattern work or small production quantities, depending on the contractor’s position and area of expertise.
This is not a fixed hourly or salaried position. Work will initially be assigned per project, per style and/or by production quantity, with the opportunity for increased and more consistent work as SEXYFAST continues to grow and scale.
We are looking to build long-term relationships with skilled independent contractors who are interested in growing alongside the brand.
If you already work with swimwear—handling Lycra, elastane blends, and applying clean, durable seams—we’ll hit the ground running. Please share any previous bikini projects or photos of stretch-fabric workmanship.
Pay: $20.00 - $31.66 per hour
