Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a person for a part-time position as a Maintenance Technician for Belews Lake Park. Duties include cleaning restrooms, mulching, cleaning the shelter, working with the public and performing various projects using a variety of equipment including tractors, blowers and various handheld power tools.
Work Schedule:
April – November: Thursday - Saturday 8 hours per day
December – March: Thursday - Saturday 5 hours per day

Uniforms are provided.

Ability to operate and care for power equipment and hand tools.
Ability to inspect and report needs for repairs.
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds.
Graduation from high school or GED and one year experience in basic building or grounds maintenance work.
A valid driver's license is required.
Must have demonstrated ability to safely operate small to medium motorized equipment.
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered for minimum qualification requirements.
