Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $48,000–$58,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
- Performance Bonus: Quarterly bonus based on sales, labor, food cost, guest satisfaction, and operational performance — up to $5,000+ annually
- Retention Bonus: Additional $1,000–$1,500 bonus after 6–12 months of successful performance

Job Overview
We are seeking strong, motivated, and hands-on Assistant General Managers (AGMs) for our Mountain Mike’s Pizza restaurants in Georgetown and Manor, Texas.
The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager and ownership to oversee daily restaurant operations, develop and motivate team members, provide an outstanding guest experience, and help drive sales and profitability.
We are looking for leaders who are willing to work alongside their teams, take ownership of restaurant operations, and have the desire to grow into a General Manager role as our organization continues to expand.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Guest Experience
- Support the General Manager with all day-to-day restaurant operations
- Deliver exceptional guest service and strive for 100% guest satisfaction
- Maintain Mountain Mike’s Pizza product quality and brand standards
- Ensure dine-in, takeout, catering, and delivery orders are accurate and completed on time
- Take full responsibility for restaurant operations when the General Manager is not present
- Maintain excellent cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed consistently
Team Leadership
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members
- Lead shifts and provide direction to team members and shift leaders
- Build a positive, accountable, and high-energy team culture
- Assist with employee scheduling and labor management
- Coach employees on service, productivity, attendance, and performance
- Identify and develop high-performing employees for future leadership positions
- Lead by example and work alongside the team during busy periods
Sales & Financial Performance
- Support the General Manager in driving sales growth and profitability
- Monitor daily sales, labor, food costs, waste, and operational expenses
- Help control labor costs while maintaining appropriate staffing levels
- Assist with inventory counts, ordering, and food-cost controls
- Ensure proper cash handling, deposits, and financial procedures
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve restaurant performance
- Participate in local marketing, catering, fundraising, school partnerships, and community outreach
Maintenance & Compliance
- Ensure restaurant equipment is properly maintained and operational
- Follow preventive maintenance and sanitation schedules
- Maintain compliance with health department, food safety, employment, and licensing requirements
- Ensure restaurant safety and security procedures are followed
- Protect company assets and maintain proper cash-handling controls
Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience
- Assistant Manager, AGM, Shift Manager, or similar leadership experience preferred
- Pizza, fast-casual, QSR, or high-volume restaurant experience is a plus
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Understanding of restaurant labor, food costs, inventory, and basic P&L concepts
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable
- Must be comfortable working in a hands-on restaurant environment
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
