Job Summary
Remote Medical Director need to work around 2 hours a week remotely,
doctor need to have a PC or PLLC or Practice license in New York,
the doctor need have Medicare and Medicaid contracts.
Duties
- Lead and supervise clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to established medical standards.
- Oversee utilization management processes to optimize patient outcomes and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with healthcare management to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular reviews of medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Facilitate clinical development initiatives, including research projects aimed at improving patient care and outcomes.
- Provide guidance on complex clinical cases and support staff in decision-making processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in anatomy and healthcare practices to inform clinical strategies.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables related to clinical operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical standards, utilization management, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent supervisory skills, with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
