As a Transportation Driver at Cedarvale Commons, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from appointments, outings, and activities while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Safely transport residents to medical appointments, community outings, and facility-related trips
Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, including use of mobility aids if needed
Ensure all safety procedures are followed, including proper use of seat belts and wheelchair restraints
Maintain cleanliness and routine upkeep of the vehicle
Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and schedules
Communicate effectively with staff regarding transportation needs and schedules
Follow all state driving laws and facility policies
Valid driver’s license in the State of Ohio with a clean driving record
Previous experience in transportation, healthcare, or customer service preferred
Ability to safely assist passengers with limited mobility
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
