Responsibilities
- Knowledge of marijuana strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and other current products on the market
- Must be willing to purchase a Facility Agent card, which is $300. This fee can be waived if you meet the requirements.
- Must be 21 years or older and free from any felony convictions.
- Must have an Arizona ID. You must have one to work in any dispensary
- Must be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy, honest, and hardworking
- Perform sales transactions on POS system
- Basic math skills, counting and handling money
- Gather and process required patient documents and information, and perform detailed verification while maintaining client confidentiality
- Phone communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to organize
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
- Ability to lift boxes/items
- Reliable transportation
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or similar environments involving customer interaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Experience in supervising or leading teams is advantageous but not required; leadership skills are valued.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions both in person and over the phone.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stocking procedures, and store presentation standards.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and inventory management.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, stocking shelves, and conducting product demos.
