Summary
Nisbet Brower is seeking a skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our team in delivering high-quality products to our customers. This role is vital in ensuring that our builders and remodelers receive their orders on time, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, box trucks and flatbeds..
- Ensure timely delivery of products to job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency.
Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- High School Diploma required
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers.
- Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers and flatbeds is a plus.
- Ability to handle freight loading and unloading tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
