This role is initially part-time to start (3-4 days per week), with the opportunity to transition to full-time (5 days per week) within the next few months for the right candidate. Whether you're looking to get started in the medical field or bring your experience to a new team, we offer paid training and long-term growth opportunities.
Job Hours
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Open 2nd & 4th Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
Front Desk / Administrative Duties:
- Greet and check-in/out patients
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Collect payments and explain insurance benefits
- Verify vision and medical insurance eligibility
- Manage phone calls, emails, and faxes professionally and efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Vision and Medical Billing
Clinical / Assistant Duties:
- Perform pre-testing and operate diagnostic equipment
- Assist in the exam room with procedures and documentation
- Help with glasses adjustments and dispensing
- Order and verify contact lenses
- Train patients on contact lens insertion/removal
- Provide general support to the optometrist and clinic operations
- Take on additional tasks and projects as you grow in the role
Position Details
- Start: Part-time, with potential to transition to full-time
