Full Time Opportunity
Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our healthcare team at the Madison County Jail. We are looking for a Psychiatric RN, Licensed Counselor, or Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals navigate mental health challenges and providing care in a structured correctional setting.

Provide mental health assessments, screenings, and ongoing support

Identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans

Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions

Monitor patient progress and document services provided

Collaborate with medical and mental health team members

Assist with crisis intervention and stabilization when needed
-
Provide education and support to patients regarding mental health and wellness
-
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
-
Work within established correctional healthcare protocols and facility guidelines
Candidates must meet the qualifications for one of the following roles:

Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN)
-
Licensed Counselor
-
Social Worker
Additional requirements include:

Current, valid professional license or credentials as applicable

Strong communication and clinical documentation skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Correctional or behavioral health experience preferred, but not required

Ability to successfully complete facility credentialing requirements
