Creations by Brian LLC is looking for a dependable, organized, and hard-working Painting Shop/Owner Assistant to support daily operations. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to help wherever needed.
Job Summary
The Painting Shop / Owner Assistant will help with shop organization, material preparation, project walk-throughs, end-of-project cleanup and finish work, and general support for the company. This role is hands-on, requires great communication and focused on helping projects run smoothly from start to finish in both the shop and in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with project walk-throughs.
- Help with end-of-project cleanup and finish work.
- Help where needed on shop and project tasks.
- Keep the shop, materials, and supplies organized.
- Prepare painting materials and supplies for upcoming jobs.
- Load, unload, and organize equipment and materials.
- Pick up materials from local suppliers as needed.
- Fill company vans with fuel once a week.
- Help coordinate vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and weekly inspections.
- Track inventory and notify the owner when supplies need to be reordered.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
- Run errands related to business operations as needed.
- Drop/Pick Up Trailers
- Assist on project sites if more hours are wanted and work is available.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to follow directions and work independently.
- Comfortable with physical tasks and shop organization.
- Great communicator
- Must be able to lift and move painting supplies and materials as needed.
- Prior experience in painting, construction, cleanup, or related labor is helpful but not required.
- Drivers License with a good driving record
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 20–30 hours per week
- Additional hours may be available on project sites
Compensation
- Pay based on experience $17+
