Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Project Manager, Construction to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of Colovore’s high-density data center development projects. This role manages construction activities from pre-construction through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of construction and commissioning processes, especially MEP and mission-critical systems—combined with excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. You will serve as a key liaison between internal teams, contractors, and design partners to support the successful delivery of complex, fast-paced projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Manage day-to-day project delivery from construction start through turnover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical paths and mitigating risks proactively.
- Track progress, resolve issues, and drive alignment across contractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead coordination of site logistics, permitting, inspections, and construction readiness.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.
- Review and validate change orders, pay applications, and vendor invoices.
- Partner closely with Development Finance and Preconstruction to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost alignment.
Contractor & Vendor Management
- Serve as primary point of contact for general contractors, subcontractors, and third-party vendors.
- Lead weekly coordination meetings, track deliverables, and enforce performance expectations.
- Ensure all partners adhere to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Design Coordination
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and internal technical stakeholders to review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals.
- Facilitate resolution of design conflicts and ensure constructability alignment.
- Support value engineering efforts to optimize cost, performance, and schedule.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Conduct site walks to monitor workmanship, safety practices, installation quality, and design adherence.
- Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Support commissioning activities, testing, and system handover documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Development, Engineering, Operations, and Procurement to support project readiness and seamless handoff.
- Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership with clarity and transparency.
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure systems and documentation are ready for activation and ongoing management.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project logs, reports, meeting minutes, submittal trackers, and decision records.
- Prepare updates and dashboards for leadership on schedule, risks, costs, and milestones.
- Ensure all documentation required for commissioning and closeout is complete and organized.
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and project controls.
- Deep knowledge of MEP systems, mission-critical infrastructure, or technical building programs.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Skilled at reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Strong communication and relationship management abilities.
- Proven ability to lead contractors and cross-functional teams through complex challenges.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills in documentation and reporting.
- Effective risk management and problem-solving instincts.
- Proficiency with construction management tools and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project/P6, ACC, Yardi).
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving needs.
Required Experience
- 7–10+ years of construction project management experience, ideally with large commercial, industrial, and a minimum of 4+ years directly in mission-critical builds.
- Demonstrated experience managing general contractors, subcontractors, and technical project scopes.
- Strong background in MEP-heavy construction, infrastructure systems, or high-density facilities.
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and site coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Elec/Mech/Eng. Mgmt. Preferred), Architecture, or equivalent related field experience.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
