Kindspire Education is seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher for an elementary school in the Lafayette, CO area. This is currently our only opening for a candidate with bilingual experience supporting Spanish-speaking students.
Compensation
- $50–60 per hour (based on experience)
Position Details
- Elementary Special Education Resource Teacher
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- 35 paid hours per week
- 2.5 hours of unpaid lunch weekly
- School year: August 4, 2026 – May 21, 2027
- Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families to support student success
- Develop and implement IEPs while maintaining required documentation
- Must be a flexible and collaborative team player
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education license or currently in the licensing process
- Please submit a copy of your CDE license or COOL verification with your resume. Resumes submitted without license documentation will not be reviewed.
- Minimum of one year of classroom experience
- School-based experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.
- We are also open to licensed candidates with experience serving students identified as Multilingual Learners whose home language is Spanish, even if they are not proficient in Spanish.
- Please note that this district cannot accept candidates requiring a Temporary Educator Eligibility (TEE) authorization.
