Stroma Physical Therapy is seeking an ambitious, compassionate, and motivated full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our established and growing privately owned boutique-style practice. With two thriving locations and continued expansion.
Our practice treats a diverse patient population with a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, orthopedic rehabilitation, pelvic floor therapy, pediatrics, and the Schroth Method for scoliosis. Our beautiful clinic features an open treatment area, private treatment rooms, a fully equipped rehabilitation gym, and a complete Pilates studio.

Stroma is also the creator of Ischemic Conditioning Techniques (ICT®), a patented full-body manual therapy technique that utilizes blood flow restriction to promote healing throughout the body. We are proud to be a network provider for the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS).
We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to continue learning and growing professionally.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists with implementation of treatment plans
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercise and functional rehab programs
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions as directed by supervising PT
- Educate patients on movement, posture, and recovery strategies
- Track patient progress and document treatments accurately
- Maintain a supportive, positive environment that enhances the patient experience
Requirements
- Current New York State Physical Therapist Assistant License.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply (experience preferred but not required).

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
