Position Overview
As a Roofing Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, meeting with homeowners and property owners, inspecting roof damage, helping customers understand their options, and assisting clients through the roofing and insurance claim process.
This position is best for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers face-to-face.
Responsibilities
- Generate new roofing and restoration leads
- Door knock, canvass, network, and follow up with potential customers
- Inspect roofs and identify storm or weather-related damage
- Meet with homeowners, business owners, and insurance adjusters
- Explain roofing options, company services, and the insurance claim process
- Maintain communication with customers from start to finish
- Use company-provided marketing materials to help generate sales
- Represent 1UP Construction professionally in the field
- Meet performance expectations during the trial period and beyond
Qualifications
- Sales experience required
- Roofing sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated and goal-driven
- Comfortable working outside and speaking with property owners
- Must be reliable and professional
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work in the DFW area
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required

Trial Period
All new sales representatives will start with a 1-month trial period. During this time, we will evaluate performance, work ethic, communication, and overall fit with the company.
High-performing representatives may qualify for additional company support, including a company truck, gas card, and additional marketing assistance.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who already has experience in sales and understands how to communicate with customers, follow up, and close deals. Roofing sales experience is a strong plus, but we are willing to work with the right person who is motivated, dependable, and willing to learn.
