We offer a friendly, team-oriented environment for a Dry Ice Technician/Material Handler. We will train responsible, motivated, and mechanically inclined candidates to perform this unique role. The Technician sets up and stages the production of dry ice pellets and blocks, then fills, moves, weighs, and arranges bins for deliveries. The work is typically performed 9 pm until 7 am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position. Additional hours may be required to accommodate customer needs.

Job Activities
1) Set-up and stage dry ice production and operate dry ice plant equipment including block ice machinery, ice nugget extrusion equipment and robotic bin filling technology
2) Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment and perform routine maintenance
3) Inspect containers to make sure they are suitable for filling
4) Fill containers with product and weigh per regulations and standards as required
5) Sort and clean containers and organize and clean production area
6) Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
7) Carefully load and unload product to and from vehicles using forklift
Minimum Requirements
1) Previous manufacturing, maintenance, warehouse and forklift experience preferred
2) Mechanically inclined with ability to resolve issues with machinery
3) Experience with flow packing equipment and robotic work cells a plus
4) Self-motivated with ability to reliably work with minimal or no supervision
5) Good communication skills . Fluency in the English language and written communication
6) Ability to freely traverse company premises, lift products up to 50 lbs, and move products using the appropriate devices
7) A proactive approach to safety by following all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents during night shift operations.
8) Ability to work independently during night hours and on weekends while maintaining high energy levels.
