Responsibilities
Provide perioperative care to catheterization lab patients, ensuring safety throughout procedures.
Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure and report changes promptly.
Assist physicians and team with sterile technique and equipment setup.
Achieve target metrics related to procedure throughput, patient satisfaction, and accuracy.
Maintain readiness for emergencies with prompt response and adherence to protocols.
Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and privacy regulations at all times.
Document procedures, interventions, and patient responses accurately in medical records.
Demonstrate continuous learning and pursue professional development opportunities.
Utilize clinical pipelines and dashboards to forecast patient flow and workload.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan patient care and discharge logistics.
Support inventory management for Cath-Lab supplies and ensure timely restocking.
Experience/Qualifications
RN license with current cath-lab or perioperative certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years experience in cath-lab, interventional radiology, or perioperative care.
Ability to monitor vital signs and patient status pre-, intra-, post-procedure.
Knowledge of infection control, privacy regulations, and hospital policies.
Proficient in sterile technique, equipment setup, and procedure-ready readiness.
Strong documentation skills with accurate charting in EMR systems.
Emergency readiness and adherence to protocols for Cath-Lab scenarios.
Demonstrated ability to meet throughput targets and support patient flow.
Experience with inventory management and restocking of Cath-Lab supplies.
Collaborative team player with ability to plan care and discharge logistics.
