Overview
Warehouse Help. Assist with preparing orders and helping the warehouse tech with day to day tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with stock stocking, order picking, packing, and order fulfillment to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer orders
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy equipment while adhering to safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Conduct inventory management tasks using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software to maintain accurate stock levels
- Support shipping & receiving processes by preparing shipments, verifying orders, and ensuring proper packaging according to company standards
- Follow safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA guidelines, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize warehouse operations, improve logistics workflows, and meet daily targets
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or logistics preferred
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use during all warehouse activities
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with material handling equipment operation is advantageous
- Strong manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving materials safely
- Ability to follow detailed instructions for picking & packing orders, load & unload shipments, and using inventory management systems like AS400 or similar software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Physical stamina for standing long periods, lifting heavy items regularly, and performing manual tasks efficiently
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
