Job Description:
We are excited to add an additional Regional Territory Manager for Plumbing Wholesale to join E.L. Mustee! The Regional Territory Manager will plan and execute sales strategies to grow the brand's presence in their assigned region. This role involves owning their responsibilities with a driven attitude, nurturing relationships with key regional accounts while expanding their book of business and using data-driven insights to optimize sales processes and profitability. Our Regional Territory Manager will also need to be agile within their position, as additional duties and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be introduced throughout the life of the position. This position will also have aspects of building a training program for new and future members of our sales team. Key Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership & Development: Set clear performance goals, conduct team meetings with sales reps, and foster a culture of high motivation.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional sales plans and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Sales Target Management: Oversee the region's sales pipeline and forecasting to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and margin goals are met.
- Customer & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders in the region.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify new growth opportunities and adjust pricing or sales tactics accordingly.
- Reporting & Operations: Analyze regional sales data and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Requires 10+ years of experience with plumbing manufacturing sales with at least 5 years of outside sales experience. Preferably having experience with managing manufacture rep agencies. Show room sales experience is also preferred.
- Sales Mastery: Proven track record in B2B or relevant industry sales, including expertise in negotiation, closing deals, and managing complex sales cycles.
- Leadership: Strong ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive accountability for results.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for presenting to executives and building client rapport.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is typically preferred.
- Location: Must be located in either Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Arizona.
- Travel: Ability and willingness to travel extensively (often 30%–40%) within the assigned region.
