Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist servers with guest needs by refilling beverages, providing utensils, or addressing minor requests
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces according to food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members using clear, professional language to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold high standards of guest service by being attentive, friendly, and proactive in assisting both guests and staff
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations to ensure guest safety
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient service
- Experience with bussing, food running, or banquet service enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and interact positively with guests
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
