Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene, light house keeping, transportation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life while respecting their independence.
- Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction
- Experience working within home health or long-term care settings is highly valued.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
