American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a House Supervisor position requiring night shift availability, broad hospital oversight experience, and an active NJ or Compact RN license.

Hospital house supervisor role overseeing all units and operations across the facility
-
Responsible for patient throughput and flow, with a focus on ED operations and bed management
-
Uses Epic for charting
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
-
Every other weekend required

Block scheduling is not available

Floating required across all hospital units as part of the house supervisor role

Active NJ or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required
-
BLS required; ACLS and Chemo certification preferred
-
Experience in bed management, patient throughput, and hospital-wide operations preferred
-
Understanding of patient care quality indicators and measures required
-
Oversee hospital operations during off hours, maintaining communication and collaboration with the Administrator on Call (AOC) for any hospital events
-
Drive patient throughput and flow, particularly within the ED
-
Monitor and support patient care quality indicators across the facility
-
Scrub color: Navy Blue or business casual attire
-
First-time travelers are considered, though prior supervisor experience is highly preferred
-
Local candidates are accepted

All RTO requests must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being extended

Former RWJBH employees (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
