Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Precast Concrete Erector/Stainless Steel Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of precast concrete elements and the welding of stainless steel components, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that showcase your construction expertise and welding skills.
Responsibilities
- Erect and assemble precast concrete structures and components according to schematics and blueprints
- Weld and fit Stainless Steel embeds, brackets, and structural elements
- Perform concrete patching, repair, and restoration
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical instructions accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, finishing, and adjustments on-site
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work, specifically with precast concrete installation or similar roles
- Skilled in welding stainless steel with knowledge of different welding techniques (e.g., TIG, MIG)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and outdoor conditions
- Valid certifications in welding (e.g., AWS certification) preferred; construction safety certifications are a plus
We are looking for a dependable person with a strong work ethic. This is a non-union position with some travel required, but home on weekends and most weeks. We will provide all tools, trucks, and equipment necessary. This is steady work with a professional, respectful team, great pay, and benefits.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
