10. Qualifications Requirements: BS in Electrical Engineering, Data Telecommunications, or related computer degree.
11. Experience Requirements:
Minimum of five years of full-time satisfactory experience supervising employees performing project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting, engineering, architectural or landscape architectural projects.

13. Special Skills Requirements:
a. Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
b. Communication and Networking Knowledge.
c. Excellent Skills with MS Word, Access and Excel.
d. Must communicate clearly.
e. Must possess the ability to organize project information efficiently and prepare reports.
f. Knowledge of capital project construction procedures preferred but not required.
14. Description of Work:
With minimum supervision, the consultant will:
a. Schedule and lead site surveys of communication rooms, subway stations, and
transit infrastructure including General Orders.
b. Provide field support to the Construction Manager office during construction.
c. Assist in preparing Engineering Force Accounts and budgets for all the phases of
the projects.
d. Support and coordinate the Request For Proposal and Bid packaging process for Systems
& Security contracts.
e. Attend design and construction review meetings on behalf of the project teams.
f. Support contrat design activities.
g. Prepare daily reports, punch-list, conduct pre-and final inspections with Contractors
andinternaltrade group.
g. Perform other assignments as directed by Construction Manager or Project Chief
Executive Officer. The ability to coordinate with a multitude of stakeholders, such as
contractors, operations, other MTA agencies, departments and their engineering
personnel.
15. Other Job Requirements
a. One-day NYC Transit Track Safety Training Course (provided by NYCT) is required
prior to participating in work on or near the wayside.
b. The consultant shall provide safety shoes, at no cost to NYCT, which meets NYCT
guidelines and specifications, when participating in any activities located on the track or
wayside.
OSHA-30-hour certification required before participating in work on or near the wayside
Salary commensurate with scope of work job experience
Proper footwear required to perform tasks in a safe manner.
Perform other reasonably related duties as required.
