We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Airbnb Turnover Specialist. This is an independent contractor position paid per completed cleaning, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work.
Our goal is simple: provide every guest with a spotless, five-star experience. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows established procedures, and notices the little details that others miss.
Compensation
- $60-$80 per cleaning
- Most cleanings take approximately 2 hours
- Multiple cleanings completed on the same day typically require less time per unit
- Paid weekly
- Approximately 4-5 cleanings per week on average (workload varies seasonally)
Schedule
- Flexible schedule
- Must be available most Sundays
- Typical work hours are between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM
- Contractor must be willing to accept assigned cleanings during these hours
Service Area
Most properties are located in Champaign, Illinois, with occasional cleanings in Tuscola.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean Airbnb properties between guest stays
- Wash, dry, fold, and replace linens and towels
- Make beds to company standards
- Restock guest amenities and household supplies
- Stage each property consistently for arriving guests
- Perform quality inspections using provided checklists
- Photograph completed units when required
- Report maintenance concerns or property damage
- Photograph any guest-caused damage
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
- Notify management immediately when a property is guest-ready
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has exceptional attention to detail
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Can efficiently follow detailed processes and checklists
- Is dependable, honest, and self-motivated
- Works well independently with minimal supervision
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Has reliable transportation
- Has a smartphone for scheduling and communication
- Is physically able to clean multiple properties, lift laundry, bend, kneel, and remain active throughout the workday
Previous experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping, hotels, or Airbnb turnovers is helpful but not required. We are happy to train the right person.
