This role, focused at 0.4 FTE, offers the chance to work within a school setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality speech-language services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- State licensure or ability to obtain appropriate licensure for speech therapy in educational settings
- Experience with pediatrics and school-based caseloads
- Familiarity with both in-person and teletherapy delivery models
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with students of diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop targeted intervention plans
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both on-site and via teletherapy as needed
- Consult with educators, families, and other specialists to create comprehensive support plans
- Maintain timely records, write reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with school staff to promote optimal student outcomes and academic success
- Utilize best practices and current research in all therapeutic interventions
