Great Island Eatery is hiring full-time and part-time kitchen team members to join our crew at one of the Seacoast’s most unique waterfront dining destinations. Located at the beautiful Wentworth Marina in New Castle, NH, Great Island Eatery offers elevated casual dining with a focus on fresh food, quality ingredients, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
We are looking for dependable, hardworking team members who enjoy working in a busy kitchen and take pride in preparing great food. This is a seasonal position through the summer and fall, with the opportunity to transition into a year-round role within the Lexie’s family of restaurants after the season.

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare menu items according to recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
- Cook and execute dishes consistently during busy service periods
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, ovens, and other equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen throughout each shift
- Assist with prep work, restocking, and kitchen setup
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper handling
- Communicate effectively with kitchen teammates and leadership to keep service running smoothly
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable and punctual team members
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to stay organized and maintain a sense of urgency during busy shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
