. Job Summary:
Carolina Peach Logistics is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and customer-service-oriented Delivery Driver to transport and deliver packages, documents, and logistics materials. The ideal candidate will provide timely, accurate, and professional delivery services while representing the company with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
· Pick up, transport, and deliver packages according to assigned routes and schedules.
· Safely load, unload, and secure parcels during transportation.
· Verify delivery information and obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required.
· Use GPS, navigation systems, and delivery software to complete routes efficiently.
· Maintain accurate delivery records, tracking information, and required documentation.
· Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or delivery issues.
· Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations.
· Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
· Handle sensitive deliveries with confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Reliable transportation or ability to operate company-assigned vehicle.
· Previous delivery, courier, transportation, or logistics experience preferred.
· Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 50 pounds.
· Strong time-management and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and complete routes on schedule.
· Smartphone skills and ability to use navigation and delivery applications.
· Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to walk, bend, lift, and carry packages.
· Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
· Ability to work in different weather conditions
· Ability to safely enter and exit delivery locations.
Work Environment:
· Local and regional delivery routes.
