We are currently seeking PIANO and GUITAR teachers to join our great team of faculty. If you play and are able to teach other instruments as well, even better! We could also use another voice teacher, but voice teachers must read music and be able to accompany your students on piano or guitar.
Not just a music teacher in a private or group studio. Be a part of something special!
Please, before you submit anything to us, read this whole listing. We sadly receive countless emails from unqualified individuals, which is a tragic waste of time and advertising budget. If you do not live in our area, unless you are prepared to move on your own dime and can support yourself until you build up a roster, please do not apply.
We are looking for committed believers that love Jesus, and are college educated musicians and artists with a desire and passion to teach music as a mission and ministry. You must have passion and proficiency on your instrument. Voice teachers must be able to accompany their students at least on a basic level on piano or guitar.
If you do not have a professional working knowledge of all of your scales, please DO NOT contact us. You should ideally know your modes as well and must be able to read music at a professional level. If you cannot read music at an extremely high level, please do not contact us.
If you are not a baptized believer and member of a church in good standing, do not contact us.
If you are not local please do not contact us unless you plan already to move here.
Why are we looking for great people? Because we are constantly growing! We started just 12 years ago in a living room and currently serve over 500 students a week and all but two of our teachers are on a waitlist. And we know there is a need for music and the gospel in Seattle as well as Olympia!
Are you willing to work hard and want to be a part of a team in a growing, community minded local non-profit that is making a difference? Keep reading
Important note:
Please keep in mind, this is NOT a full-time job, however, you could provide for yourself fairly well with a solid roster of students after a while, depending on student enrollment and your willingness and ability to connect with the community.
