Loan Officer (Full-Time)

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused Loan Officer to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with our members while helping them achieve their financial goals.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Loan Officer, you will:
- Process consumer loan applications from start to finish.
- Maintain vehicle titles and insurance documentation.
- Assist with delinquency management and collection efforts.
- Protect member confidentiality and ensure compliance with credit union policies.
- Maintain accurate loan records and documentation.
In addition to lending responsibilities, this position also serves members in a teller capacity by:
- Greeting members professionally in person and over the phone.
- Processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Opening and maintaining memberships and deposit accounts.
- Resolving member questions and concerns.
- Promoting credit union products and services.
- Maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Assisting with daily branch operations as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of lending experience required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer proficiency and cash handling experience.
- Professional appearance and mature, positive demeanor.
- Strong sense of integrity and commitment to exceptional member service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing friendly, personalized service.
