Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are seeking a CRS Coatings Specialist to promote and grow our Coatings product line by identifying and supporting opportunities in both new construction and restoration projects, aligned with market needs and demand.
Responsibilities
- Implement strategic sales plans as outlined by the CRS Coatings BDL/PLM to achieve corporate goals within the assigned region.
- Conduct sales presentations with key clients and prospective customers, in coordination with sales representatives; promote MAPEI products through hands-on demonstrations, field support, and highlighting key features and benefits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field sales related to Elastocolor, Mapecoat Deck Systems, and related coatings products, working with the Coatings BDL/PLM to execute strategic actions in the assigned U.S. territory.
- Support MAPEI’s salesforce by developing strong relationships and driving sales objectives within a designated U.S. territory.
- Meet with key clients—including Design Professionals, Specifiers, and Contractors—to conduct lunch & learns, trainings, and support sales representatives in relationship development, negotiation, and closing sales.
- Provide field sales and customer support through client education, engineering presentations, applicator training, field demonstrations, and jobsite visits.
- Assist in evaluating and resolving product claims related to the coatings range.
- Represent MAPEI at industry tradeshows to enhance brand visibility.
- Actively participate in local and regional trade associations to build leadership presence in the territory.
- Ensure compliance with BMS procedures and EHS regulations.
- Maintain a safe workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
- Recent experience as an outside sales representative in the architectural paint and coatings market, and familiar with major players such as AEC firms, contractors, owners, public authorities and industry associations.
- Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of seven to ten years of experience in your assigned product market, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.
- Possess knowledge and experience in the assigned product market, including both new construction and restoration.
Certification goals - - US: CSI, CDT, LEED-AP a plus.
- Membership(s) involvement: ICRI (local/national), SWR, CSI, AIA, and/or other industry related organization.
- This role will require moderate to high travel at times.
- Valid driver license and good driving record.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish and/or Italian) a plus.
