Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations and aviation inventory management. The role is highly hands-on and involves working with aircraft components and warehouse logistics.
*************Not a general warehouse/fulfillment role. Candidates with only Amazon, retail, or grocery warehouse experience may not meet the requirements.****************
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming aircraft parts and aviation-related inventory
- Pull, pack, and distribute materials, tools, and aircraft components for internal use and customer orders
- Generate Air Waybills (AWBs) and prepare domestic and international shipments
- Sort, label, and store inventory on racks, shelves, pallets, or bins according to established procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work area
- Safely operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies (as required)
- Travel to other warehouse, vendor, or retail locations for pickups and deliveries as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier items require team lifting or mechanical assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and work on feet for extended periods
- Manual dexterity and coordination to safely operate hand and power tools
- Comfortable working around large aircraft components and industrial equipment
- Visual acuity sufficient to read labels, measure materials, and perform detailed handling tasks
Requirements & Qualifications
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet-based tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Attention to detail!
- Experience in the aviation industry a huge PLUS!!!!
- Demonstrates good judgment and sound decision-making skills
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Prior warehouse, logistics, or aviation-related experience required!
