Shift expectations and responsibility.
- Read orders off of our KDS (Kitchen Display System)
- Cook orders to specifications and in a timely manner
- Clean all kitchen equipment, surfaces, and dishes after use, and at the end of the shift
- Ensure all prep work in the kitchen is done and labeled correctly
- Be able to learn and follow health department guidelines and regulations
Hours of operations:
Monday through Friday: 5:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Saturday:6:30 A.M.- 1:00 P.M.
Sunday:7:00-1:00 P.M.
SHIFTS MAY START AT 5:00 A.M OR EARLIER AND MAY END AS LATE AS 2:00 P.M
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Strong food handling and service skills
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and knife skills
- Background in the food industry
- Experience in catering and plating
- Knowledge of Health Department practices and safety regulations
Summary
As a Back of House team member at Son of a Biscuits!, you will be essential in maintaining the kitchen's, cleanliness, efficiency, and quality of food service. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, your core skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling will ensure that meals are prepared safely and to the highest standards. With additional experience in catering and knowledge of food safety practices, you will help create a positive dining experience for our guests in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
