Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of civil litigation practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, extensive paralegal experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional legal administrative support. In this role, you will assist attorneys with research, document management, case preparation, and client communication to ensure seamless legal operations and outstanding client service.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, and other legal research tools to support case development across various practice areas such as securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and workers' compensation law
- Assist in drafting legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Manage case files using document management systems to ensure accurate filing, data entry, and document review
- Support attorneys with litigation preparation by organizing evidence, reviewing documents for relevance and accuracy, and maintaining case calendars
- Conduct thorough document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy before submission or filing
Experience
- Proven paralegal experience in a law office setting with familiarity in civil litigatioon
- Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw for comprehensive legal investigations
- Experience with legal case management software
- Demonstrated ability to draft clear legal documents and perform proofreading with high attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
