Job Summary

As a vital support to our bartenders and service staff, you’ll ensure the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and organized, enabling smooth and efficient beverage service. Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages quickly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning surfaces, utensils, glassware, and bar equipment in accordance with food service safety standards
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas to ensure a tidy environment
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, bottles, and crates safely and with proper technique
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic garnishing or assembling simple menu items
- Ensure compliance with food service bar safety regulations and venue beverage service policies
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy periods
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments preferred; experience in bars or restaurants is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, bar cleaning protocols, and food industry safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as TOAST is advantageous for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of catering services or venue beverage operations is a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to food safety compliance and customer service excellence
