Compensation & Benefits
- $30–$50 per hour (based on experience and licensing)

Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, plumbing and HVAC systems in commercial buildings, custom homes, and new residential construction projects. You’ll work alongside experienced construction teams to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to code.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects while utilizing your technical skills and contributing to high-quality workmanship across Vermont.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial, residential, and custom plumbing systems
- Installation of HVAC equipment in new residential construction settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment
- Coordinate with project managers, HVAC technicians, electricians, and other trades
- Perform remodeling and renovation work as needed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed work
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial, residential plumbing installation
- Experience with residential new construction plumbing and HVAC installation preferred
- Journeyman or Master Plumbing License preferred
- Natural Gas, Propane, and EPA 608 licenses/certifications preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Knowledge of pipe assembly, welding, threading, and plumbing installation techniques
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and general construction practices preferred
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL not required
