Opticians with prior experience in an optometry or ophthalmology clinic is NOT a must.
Customer service experience is a plus
The positions primary focus will be to pre-test patients before their exam
It may also include at times, for you to dispense and fit eyewear, for both adults and children, help patients with types of lenses and spectacle frames, including style, weight and color, coatings.
With training, you will need to be able to pull, read and understand insurances.
_Team player, and good customer service is a must_
The position may at times fluctuate in days or hours, so it may not be a good position if you are in school or working another job.
Person must also have an outgoing personality.
Shift is Monday-Friday with at most 2 Saturdays a month
