Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service and support to our clients in various manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, Low Voltage knowledge, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment while ensuring optimal performance.
Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in manufacturing environments.
- Troubleshoot issues related to hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
- Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide technical support.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Execute welding tasks including stick welding as required for repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating scissor lifts and other equipment.
- Collaborate with customers to provide technical sales support and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during visits.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with industrial mechanic experience.
- Proficient in electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and HVAC/R technologies.
- Experience with industrial maintenance practices and procedures.
- Ability to analyze problems effectively and develop solutions quickly.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Knowledge of military standards is a plus.
- Experience operating scissor lifts safely in various environments.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
